The company delivers a diverse range of new build and refurbishment schemes up to £15 million, including commercial, residential, education, public sector, and mixed-use developments.This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, well-structured business with a strong pipeline of regional work.Role ResponsibilitiesPrepare accurate cost estimates for new build and refurbishment tendersReview drawings, specifications, and tender documentation to identify project requirementsBuild up cost plans, bills of quantities, and trade packagesLiaise with supply chain partners to obtain competitive quotations and market pricesAssess risk, value engineering options, and buildability considerationsWork with bid, design, and operational teams to develop well-coordinated tender submissionsAttend tender meetings and contribute to final adjudication processesMaintain estimating databases, supplier information, and cost librariesAbout YouExperienced Estimator within a main contractor or construction environmentBackground estimating projects up to £15m in valueStrong understanding of construction methods, materials, and market pricingConfident reviewing technical drawings and tender documentsExcellent numerical, analytical, and communication skillsAble to manage multiple tenders simultaneously and meet deadlinesCompetent with estimating software and MS OfficeFull UK driving licence (desirable for client/site visits)Whats on OfferCompetitive salary + company benefitsOpportunity to work within a strong and supportive pre-construction teamCareer development and progression with a growing regional contractorExposure to varied and interesting project types across the regionTPBN1_UKTJ
