Job Description
Thrive Personnel Services are recruiting for an Estimator to join our clients busy production team in Leeds.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nReview project plans, specifications, and other documentation to understand the scope of work.\n\nIdentify and quantify all materials, labor, and equipment required for each project.\n\nObtain quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.\n\nPrepare detailed cost estimates using company software and tools.\n\nPresent estimates to the sales team and management for review and approval.\n\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date cost data\n\nAssist with value engineering and cost reduction efforts.\n\nFollow up on submitted estimates and track success rates.\n\nStay informed about industry trends, new products, and competitive pricing.\n\nQualifications:\n\nProven experience in estimating, preferably in the fire door or construction industry.\n\nStrong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and construction methods.\n\nProficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and other technical documents.\n\nExcellent math and analytical skills.\n\nAbility to use estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.\n\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\n\nDetail-oriented and organized.\n\nThis is a permanent vacancy with a January start for the right candidate
