Artisan Recruit are working in partnership with a well-established and growing contractor to recruit an experienced Fit Out Estimator. This is a permanent opportunity with a strong pipeline of secured work across commercial and interior fit out projects.
The Role
As Fit Out Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders from first principles, working closely with the commercial, design and delivery teams.
Key responsibilities include:

Preparing detailed cost estimates for commercial fit out projects
*
Taking off quantities from drawings and specifications
*
Analysing tender documents, drawings and schedules
*
Obtaining and evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotations
*
Producing tender submissions within agreed deadlines
*
Supporting value engineering and cost planning exercises
*
Assisting with bid handovers to the delivery team
About You
*
Proven experience as a Fit Out Estimator within the construction or interiors sector
*
Strong understanding of fit out packages (drylining, ceilings, joinery, M&E interfaces, finishes)
*
Ability to price from first principles
*
Confident working with drawings, specifications and schedules
*
Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
*
Proficient with estimating software and Excel
