The role of Estimator
Bespoke Joinery & Fit-Out will involve:
Estimator position dealing with a range of manufactured bespoke joinery and fit-out projects within the commercial sector
Review tender enquiries to determine scope of works and project deadlines
Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines
Keeping good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
Producing formal quotations to customers
Establish and maintain relationships with contractors and suppliers
Working on projects ranging in value from £50k to £3m
The ideal applicant will be an Estimator
Bespoke Joinery & Fit-Out with
Must have estimating experience within joinery, manufacturing, or fit-out sectors
Candidates from a manufacturing background are highly desirable
Open to estimators from manufacturing, even without joinery or fit-out experience
Good technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs
Highly organised with good attention to detail
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Good team player who also works well individually
