Estimating Director Opportunity for a Estimating Director to work for a leading Main Contractor. This is an exciting new role to manage an existing team, workload and grow a successful division.About the role of Estimating DirectorAs Estimating Director, you will be to oversee and manage the existing estimating team which consists of Senior Estimators, Estimators, Assistant Estimators and Admin. For this Region being based at their London office, you will be working focusing on all Data Centre projects UK and Europe wide, with these projects ranging up to £400 Million. With an existing turnover for this division of Circa £300 Million and plans for this individual to support and grow the team further. For this role, the Estimating Director will report directly into the Managing Director.Responsibilities for Estimating DirectorBusiness Unit - Responsibility for playing a key role in strategic and leadership.Overseeing the estimating function and teamOversee preparation of cost estimates, budgets, bid proposals and tender submissionsManaging existing and new RelationshipsLeading Tender Presentations, interviews, and negotiations with clientDevelop and deliver 1 stage bids.Requirements for Estimating Director10+ Years experience within Construction Preconstruction position with a Main ContractorGood Communication skillsTeam leadership, planning and time management skills.Ability to build strong relationships.Ability to identify risk and opportunities and decide bid strategyWhat we offer for Estimating Director This opportunity is to work for a financially stable business with a steady turnover, as a group exceeding in a Billion with multiple offices nation and worldwide.
