Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Estates Manager (Mechanical & Electrical) to oversee the day-to-day management of maintenance services, including new works, minor capital projects, and system upgrades across the Trust. You will lead on compliance, safety, and operational improvements while managing contractors and in-house teams to deliver an outstanding service.
Temporary placement up to 6 months
Duties
* Oversee and manage estates maintenance, ensuring statutory and safety compliance
* Lead on system changes, such as CAFM, BMS, and mechanical/electrical infrastructure upgrades
* Act as an Authorised Person (AP) or Responsible Person (RP) for at least two specialist disciplines (e.g., Medical Gas, Ventilation, Electrical Services)
* Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure cost-efficient service delivery
* Work closely with clinical teams, senior managers, and external contractors to maintain a safe and high-quality environment
* Participate in the Estates Manager on-call rota, providing support during out-of-hours emergencies
Qualifications
* A Degree or HND/HNC in a relevant estate discipline or equivalent experience.
