We're seeking an experienced Estate Improvements Manager on a temporary basis to lead our technical team in delivering a wide range of estate improvement projects across all sites. Location: Multi-campus | Department: Estates Services. Full-time | Temporary ContractAs part of the Planning, Development and Improvement section within Estates Services, you'll oversee the delivery of low- to medium-value projects that enhance the organisation's built environment. Reporting to the Head of Estate Improvements, you'll manage a team of professional project officers and collaborate with internal stakeholders, external contractors, and consultants to ensure projects align with strategic goals, budgets, and customer needs. Your work will directly contribute to creating inspiring, accessible, and sustainable spaces that support engagement and staff productivity. Your new role Lead the planning and execution of estate improvement projects in line with the organisation's strategies. Manage and develop a team of Estate Improvement project officers. Collaborate with the Asset Manager to co-develop the organisation's schedule of estate improvements. Engage with all internal stakeholders to define project requirements. Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and with a strong customer focus. What you'll need to succeed Proven leadership in estates or facilities management. Strong stakeholder engagement and project delivery skills. Ability to manage multiple projects across diverse locations. Commitment to creating environments that inspire professional excellence. Required Qualification: Educated to degree level in property/construction, estates management, or mechanical, electrical or building services engineering or a closely related discipline.
