K.A.G. Recruitment are partnering exclusively with our client who is looking to recruit an Environmental Officer to join their existing team based in Kingswinford.
Role: Environmental Officer Salary: Up to 35,000 - DOE Location: Kingswinford Hours: Monday to Friday - 8.00 - 17.00 (flexibility to work on weekends and outside regular hours is required based on business demands)
Purpose of the role:
You will be responsible for overseeing the environmental & sustainability performance of the site and ensuring the treatment plant is operating within its permitted approved limits.
Duties: Coordinate all aspects of pollution control, waste management, recycling, environmental health, conservation, and renewable energy Lead the implementation of environmental policies and practices including driving efficiencies in utilities, whilst working in collaboration with on-site departments Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and keep up to date with British & adopted European Legislation Liaise with relevant bodies such as the EA, local authority, and other public bodies Audit, analyse and report environmental performance to management and regulatory bodies Promote and raise awareness, at all levels of the organisation, of the impact ...
