The Programme This cutting-edge initiative aims to design and build a first-of-its-kind prototype fusion energy plant by 2040. Bringing together world-leading scientists, engineers, policymakers, and industry partners, the programme will demonstrate the ability to generate net electricity from fusion - paving the way for a commercially viable, zero-carbon energy sector.
The Role As Environmental Engineer, you'll work closely with the Environmental Technical Lead and multidisciplinary teams to integrate environmental best practice into every stage of the programme. You'll take ownership of key environmental work packages, lead on the development of Environment Cases, and ensure compliance with environmental legislation and sustainability standards on a project of unprecedented scale and complexity.
