Who this role would suit

This role would suit an environmentally focused professional who enjoys working in a site-based environment and engaging with operational teams. It is ideal for someone organised, proactive and detail-oriented, with the confidence to support projects, manage environmental risks and promote sustainable practices across complex infrastructure or construction programmes.

Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day environmental support to project and site teams

Ensure compliance with environmental legislation, permits and site requirements

Support the development and implementation of Environmental Management Plans and risk assessments

Conduct site inspections, monitoring activities and environmental audits

Promote environmental awareness, sustainability initiatives and best practice across siteRequirements

Proven experience in Environmental role

Degree qualified in relevant discipline. xbpsjku

Experience within Construction, Nuclear, Infrastructure, or similar.Location Whitehaven

Permanent Full Time, 40 hrs

Salary circa £40k + £5k car allowance
