Entertainment Market Research Executive

2 Days Old

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Research Executive/Analyst to join our entertainment research team, based in the UK but part of a larger global team with offices across the US. This role will focus on film audience test screenings and TV series content testing across the UK and international markets—partnering with some of the world’s top studios and streaming platforms, who trust us to help shape and optimise the content and campaigns that fuel cultural conversations.

You’ll dive into both qualitative and quantitative research, helping answer big strategic questions about what audiences want, what resonates, and why. From crafting surveys and discussion guides to transforming data into powerful stories that answer key strategic questions for our clients, you’ll be hands‑on throughout the project lifecycle.

In this role, you’ll support a seasoned expert team on episode testing for TV channel and streaming studios, as well as film testing for major movie studios and production companies, to uncover how audiences connect with stories, characters, and creative elements—helping clients refine content and marketing strategies for upcoming releases. You’ll also work on marketing materials campaign testing as well as custom initiatives that reveal insights shaping long‑term audience engagement and franchise success, aiding the development of future series and films under consideration.

If you're driven by curiosity, passionate about entertainment, and excited to turn insights into impact, this is your opportunity to be at the heart of where research meets storytelling.

Your Impact

  • Support all phases of quantitative and qualitative research projects, including research design, questionnaire and discussion guide development, data analysis and storytelling.
  • Partner with internal and external operations teams (programming, fieldwork, facilities, moderators, data processing) to drive projects forward on stringent timelines.
  • Ensure the smooth and efficient delivery and operational excellence of ongoing client‑facing programs.
  • Assist with translating data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations through visual, creative and story‑driven reports.
  • Help drive quality control processes at each step of the research lifecycle, from checking survey programming logic, questionnaire proofing, number checking and proofing reports and presentations for accuracy.
  • Attend and support the smooth operations and reporting at in‑person test screenings in and around London, and occasionally in international markets (which involves international travel).
