Enterprise Architect – Retail Payments Infrastructure

Hybrid – 2 Days per week in London

£600/day | Inside IR35

4 months (extensions very likely)

Active SC Clearance Required

We're looking for an Enterprise Architect to join a high-impact initiative focused on building next-generation retail payments infrastructure via Consultancy. This is the kind of role where your thinking directly influences how millions of people interact with the financial system.


What you'll be doing:


Day-to-day, you'll be working at the intersection of strategy, design, and delivery — producing high-level designs for future payments infrastructure, distilling research and best practice into actionable recommendations, and writing papers that win buy-in from senior internal and external boards.


You'll engage directly with industry stakeholders to understand their needs, design end-to-end user journeys, and partner with the Retail Payment Innovation Board Design Authority and the newly established Delivery Company to keep everything aligned to the bigger picture.

Bonus points if you have:

  • A background in design or architecture
  • Experience leading or contributing to project delivery
  • Direct retail payments system, design, or supervisory experience
  • Experience working via consultancy
