The Role
We’re hiring an experienced Enterprise Account Executive to help scale Harper’s impact across the fashion and retail industry. You’ll work directly with the Head of Sales as one of the founding members of our sales team, playing a key role in driving new business and helping define the commercial engine behind our next phase of growth.
This is a strategic, high-impact role focused on closing high-value partnerships with premium and enterprise retail brands. If you're commercially sharp, entrepreneurial, and excited to be part of something early, this role is for you.
What you’ll be doing:
- Own and lead end-to-end enterprise sales cycles - from prospecting and discovery through to negotiation and close.
- Navigating complex sales processes across multiple stakeholders using qualification methodology such as MEDDIC.
- Proactively build and manage your own pipeline - strategic outreach to key target accounts, generating new opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders (typically VP/Director-level across eCommerce, Digital, and CX) and successfully articulate Harper’s value proposition.
- Partner with the Head of Sales to continue to evolve existing sales processes in preparation for the next phase of growth, optimisation of tooling and reporting.
- Coach and support less experienced AEs in the team, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
- Act as a strategic voice internally - sharing market feedback and collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Ops, and Marketing.
- Represent Harper externally at industry events and partner opportunities
What we are looking for:
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in SaaS, eCommerce, payments or retail tech.
- Proven track record closing large mid-market or enterprise deals (£250k+ ACV) and meeting or exceeding targets.
- Experience owning the full sales cycle - especially strategic outbound pipeline generation.
- Experience using CRM and prospecting tools - HubSpot is ideal.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to engage senior decision-makers.
- Highly motivated, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Experience mentoring others or interest in stepping into a leadership role in the future.
- Prior experience in a team lead role, deputising or covering for senior leaders in a commercial or startup setting.
- Familiarity with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, Centra, Salesforce Commerce Cloud etc.
- Experience working with fashion, lifestyle, or retail brands.
- Background in early stage startup or scale-up environments.

- 45-minute video call – we’ll get to know you, your experience, and tell you more about Harper and the role.
- 75-minute in-person interview at HQ to meet the Team – we’ll dive into your experience and motivations in a little more detail. This in-person meeting will include a practical task to show us how you work.You will get the opportunity to meet the team and get the feel for all things Harper.
- 30-minute cultural fit interview with CEO – we’ll give you a scenario and ask you questions about this
