English Teacher - January Start Long-Term Position | Nottingham

Are you an enthusiastic English Teacher seeking a long-term role starting in January?

Tradewind are proud to be supporting a Nottingham secondary school who are looking to appoint a committed KS3/KS4 English Teacher from January on a full-time basis (part-time may also be considered for the right candidate).

This is a long-term position with the potential for full duties, including planning and marking. Pay is competitive, ranging from £165 - £265 per day, processed through PAYE.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching English, with the ability to motivate and inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4. They should bring strong subject knowledge, excellent behaviour management, and a commitment to contributing positively to the school's ethos and wider community.

Key Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred, though strong unqualified teachers with UK experience will be considered

Relevant degree and teaching qualifications

Enhanced Child-Only DBS (or willingness to apply)

Proven experience teaching English at KS3/KS4 in UK schools

Strong subject knowledge and effective pedagogy

Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
