The Role As an English Teacher, you will:
Teach English Language and Literature across Key Stages 4 and 5 Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that challenge and inspire students Foster a positive, inclusive, and academically ambitious classroom environment Support small class sizes, allowing for personalised teaching and meaningful feedback Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities where appropriateYou will be joining a supportive and collaborative department that values high standards, creativity, and professional development. The Ideal Candidate We are seeking a teacher who:
Holds a degree in English or a related subject Has QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and a passion for English Has strong classroom management and communication skills Is committed to high academic standards and pastoral careExperience within an independent or high-performing school environment is desirable but not essential.
