The Role

As a Secondary English Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 available depending on experience) Inspire a love for literature, language, and communication in a diverse student body Use a range of teaching strategies to support all learners, including those with additional needs Mark and assess work in line with school policies and provide constructive feedback Contribute to departmental development and extracurricular activities (e.g., reading clubs, debate teams)Person Specification / Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must:

Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification Have recent experience teaching English in a UK secondary school Be confident in delivering the English curriculum to a high standard Hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS H...
