About the Role
- Teaching personnel is seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to join welcoming secondary schools in Northampton. This is a full-time position with an immediate start, ideal for an enthusiastic educator committed to delivering engaging and high-quality English lessons.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver inspiring English lessons across Key stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable).
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
- Create a positive and inlcusive classroom environment.
- Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential.
- Contribute to departmental planning and school-wide initiatives.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Specialism in English Language and/or Literature.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- A passion for education and student development.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
