An outstanding secondary school based in Hounslow are looking for an English teacher.
School are looking for someone to start after Easter on a long term contract until at least July 2026, with the possibility of continuing in September and securing a permanent contract.
This position is part time, working 3 days per week. Working hours are from 8:30am to 3:30pm.
Salary will be pro rata to outer London MPS/UPS.
School has available parking spaces.

English Teacher - Hounslow, London (Part Time)

* Deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons across KS3-KS4, fostering a love of reading, writing, and critical thinking.
* Support students in developing strong literacy skills, including analytical writing and comprehension.
* Plan and deliver creative lessons that challenge and motivate learners of all abilities.
* Monitor student progress through effective assessment and provide constructive feedback to support improvement.
* Contribute to the wider English department, supporting curriculum development and enrichment activities.

Qualifications and Person Specification:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* A relevant degree in English or a related subject
* Excellent subject knowledge with the ability to inspire and motivate students
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Approachable, organised, and committed to high standards of teaching and learning
