As an ideal candidate, you will possess: An Honours Degree in English or significant experience teaching English / Literacy, along with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Experience in teaching English in a mainstream or special education setting, particularly to students with dyslexia and specific learning difficulties. Strong knowledge of the English curriculum, including the progression of literacy skills, and the ability to create engaging and differentiated lessons. Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. A proactive and flexible approach, with a passion for supporting students' academic and personal development.
