About The Role

You will:

• Teach a rich and varied humanities curriculum, including English, literature, history, philosophy, geography, classics, architecture, art, mythology, poetry, and more.
• Foster meaningful discussions and inquiry-based learning in a small-class setting.
• Ensure curriculum expectations are met to a strong level.
• Support students preparing for top-tier independent school entrance exams.
• Instil strong values, community spirit, and impeccable behaviour in the classroom.
  
  
  

• An Oxbridge (or equivalent) graduate in Classics, PPE, Literature, or a related humanities discipline.
• Nurturing and inspiring, with excellent classroom management and a genuine love for teaching.
• Experienced in small-group or independent school settings, with an understanding of selective school entrance preparation.
• A confident communicator, polished and personable—comfortable working in a school community that includes UHNW and VIP families.
• Naturally curious, with the ability to draw on a broad base of knowledge to enrich classroom discussions.
  
  
  

• 1–3 years’ teaching experience (Teach First or similar programmes welcome) – PGCE or QTS is desirable but not compulsory
• A track record of encouraging deep thinking, questioning, and meaningful conversation in the classroom
• Passionate about delivering a world-class, holistic education
