Engineering Technician

We have a great opportunity for an ambitious maintenance technician to join the engineering team at our clients state of the art distribution centre that is easily commutable from Wolverhampton, Telford, Stoke on Trent and the surrounding areas.

You will need to be confident both Mechanically and Electrically as you will be responding to breakdowns swiftly, keeping down time to a minimum, while carrying out pro-active planned maintenance of the automated storage retrieval system, conveyors, packaging machinery, end of line machinery and the facilities.

Key Responsibilities of an Engineering Technician Carry out planned preventative maintenance Adhere to Health and Safety Standards at all times Day to Day maintenance of site MHE to a high standard Demonstrate hands on ownership and confidence when responding to breakdowns Prioritise system faults Accurately record work carried out Collaborate with colleagues Experience and Qualifications required for an Engineering Technician Apprentice Trained or equivalent qualifications in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Experience with maintaining storage retrieval system Pneumatic and Hydraulic experience would be beneficial Computer literate Experience with print and apply machines Experience with general building maintenance Salary and Benefits of a Engineering Technician Salary £51,700 inc Shift Allowance 4 on 4 off Days and Nights Increasing Annual Leave Pension Plan Life Assurance Staff Discount If you feel you are ready to take the next step in your career and have the right skills and experience for this
