Engineering Team Leader (Nights) Alfreton Full-Time | Permanent Were looking for a proactive, hands-on Engineering Team Leader - Nights to join our team at our Alfreton site. This is a practical, shop-floor-focused leadership role where youll oversee a team of Maintenance Fitters, driving high maintenance standards and supporting a strong preventative maintenance culture. As a key member of the engineering team, youll help reduce downtime, improve equipment reliability, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the site. ? Key Responsibilities Lead, support, and mentor a team of Maintenance Fitters in day-to-day maintenance activities. Champion a preventative maintenance approach, ensuring proactive servicing and inspections. Be a visible, hands-on presence on the shop floor assisting with fault finding, repairs, and machinery installation. Plan and oversee weekly maintenance schedules in coordination with production. Support the planning and delivery of site shutdowns, statutory inspections, and compliance activities.
