As the Engineering Supervisor, you’ll lead a team of engineers responsible for the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of critical infrastructure systems. You’ll ensure uptime, reliability, and compliance across all mechanical and electrical systems within the data centre.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day engineering operations within the data centre
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of shift engineers/technicians
• Ensure all critical systems (UPS, generators, HVAC, BMS, etc.) operate efficiently
• Manage planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
• Oversee incident response and root cause analysis for outages or faults
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and industry regulations
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and stakeholders
• Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and logs

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in a critical environment (data centres, hospitals, banking, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical systems
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and lead during incidents
• Familiarity with SLAs, KPIs, and compliance standards
• Relevant technical qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND, NVQ, or equivalent)
