This is a crucial role within the Engineering leadership team and is the key link to the company Risk, Safety and Compliance team. The Quality Manager will ensure the department has robust standards and ensures standards are being adhered to. This role oversees all quality assurance and control processes, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures compliance with relevant internal, regulatory, customer, and industry standards.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Lead Auditor or Quality Management certification (ISO 9001, 14001) preferred. Extensive technical knowledge, with a transport background. Minimum 3 years’ experience in a quality or compliance management role within the maritime or transport sector. Experienced in regulatory environments, setting standards and conducting audits. Relevant experience of working in high pressure environments whilst maintaining high levels of safety and maintenance practices. Familiarisation with the management of ISM compliance. Familiarisation with the IMO High Speed Craft Code. Previous experience and knowledge working to ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS18001 standards.
