Engineering Production Manager (Precision Machining)

Are you experienced in precision machining and are now looking for an exciting opportunity that will see you be responsible for the production side of this well-established company, leading a team of up to 25 strong?

\n

Do you have experience as a production supervisor and are now looking to take the next step in your career into a managerial position that will put you within the senior leadership team, and offers a Christmas shutdown?

\n

This company was established over seven decades ago and in that time has grown to employ over ninety people. The company operates out of 70,000 square foot facility and are a mechanical component manufacturer.

\n

Distributing to both and international clients, the company are looking to extensively grow over the coming years by increasing headcount and continual investment.

\n

The Role:

\n 8:30 - 5 Monday - Thursday 8:30 - 2 Friday

\n

Lead the production side of the business and work to ensure manufacturing deadlines are met

\n

Lead a team of 25 on the workshop floor

\n

Remain informed on your area of the business and conduct weekly reports to the MD

\n

Work to optimise production efficiency and ensure a seamless workflow across a range of machining processes

\n

Collaborate with the production planner, engineer and supervisor to enhance the production processes

\n

\n

The Person:

\n

\n Experience in a senior leadership / supervisory position, related to production

\n

Working knowledge of precision machining

\n

\n
