Maintenance / Engineering Manager

Dual Site | Days (6:00–16:00 Mon–Fri + flexibility)

We’re looking for a driven Maintenance / Engineering Manager to take ownership of engineering operations across two busy manufacturing sites.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll drive reliability, reduce downtime, and push performance to the next level.

⚙️ What You’ll Be Doing

Lead and develop a high-performing maintenance team

Own plant reliability, uptime, and engineering performance

Drive PPM, RCM & TPM strategies

Use OEE data to improve productivity and reduce downtime

Manage budgets, resources, and maintenance planning

Oversee breakdowns, repairs, and emergency response

Support installation and commissioning of new equipment

Manage contractors, suppliers, and critical spares

Champion health & safety, compliance, and best practice

Build a culture of continuous improvement

What You’ll Bring

Proven experience in maintenance/engineering management

Strong knowledge of hydraulics & pneumatics

Ability to lead teams and deliver results under pressure

Organised, proactive, and commercially aware

Confident decision-maker with a hands-on approach

Experience in heavy industry (foundry ideal, not essential)

Bonus Skills

PLC / basic electrical knowledge

FLT / MEWP / lifting & slinging

First Aid / Fire Safety

Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, systems)
