Role: Engineering Director Location: London / Bristol / Manchester / Suffolk (flexible with regular site presence)Overview We are supporting the appointment of an Engineering Director for a major UK infrastructure programme. This is a senior leadership role reporting to the Chief Technical Officer, responsible for leading programme-wide engineering delivery and ensuring design is delivered to required quality, maturity, cost and schedule.Key ResponsibilitiesLead Programme Engineering Teams and Risk & Opportunities functionEnsure delivery of a safe, mature, high-quality design aligned to cost and scheduleDrive replication of an existing reference design Oversee configuration management and design integration across programmesAct as senior escalation point for complex technical challengesDischarge Principal Designer responsibilities under CDM regulationsLead technical risk management and strategic response to programme-level issuesWork closely with delivery teams, supply chain and design partnersCandidate ProfileDirector-level experience in major infrastructure or nuclear projectsStrong background in engineering leadership across complex programmesExperience delivering within regulated environments (nuclear highly desirable)Strong understanding of design governance, configuration management and riskAbility to influence at senior stakeholder level (internal and external)Chartered Engineer (or equivalent)Rullion celebrates and supports diversity and is committed to ensuring equal opportunities for both employees and applicants.JBRP1_UKTJ
