Engine Maintenance Technicianc£40,000Birmingham MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Service Engineer for a power generation business maintain large Gas Engines based on sites around the North of Birmingham area.As Engine Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for: Carrying out planned & unplanned maintenance on various peaking & landfill gas sites.Responding to breakdowns & carrying out repairs efficiently on large Gas Engines & CHP units.Operating within strict H&S standards.Ensuring all paperwork & legislation is followed & kept up to date.Working as part of an on-call rota with a team of other engineers.Other duties as required. To be considered for this role you should have: Proven experience in an engine maintenance role.A relevant engineering qualification; Apprenticeship/SVQ/NVQ/BTEC/HNC etcExperience with gas engines would be advantageous.The ability to travel to varied sites with a flexible approach to hours.Full UK driving licence.
