Are you skilled in customer service? Join this team dedicated to aiding vulnerable individuals in managing energy bills and staying warm during winter. You don’t need exact experience of doing this role before, as this charity can provide training.
The role involves providing in-home visits across London, with a main focus on West and Northwest London areas. Tasks include offering advice, installing energy-saving measures like low-energy light bulbs and draft proofing, and making referrals to other support services.  You will also provide support around bill changing if this can reduce costs.
You will get your own company van to drive for work for visits (it’s a small one, almost like a car / van).  You will make around 3 visits per day, with each visit lasting around an hour and half in total.  But your appointments are set up by the team, so they make sense travel wise (i.e. all on a similar route / within relative proximity).
To apply for this role, the charity is looking for people who have
Worked within energy / utility services, so you might have been a home meter reader or similar for an energy, gas, or water company.  So, you would be sued to visiting peoples houses to perform set tasks.  Or you might have worked in a contact centre for a utilities company so are used to dealing with customer queries of a similar kind. Or worked in a role which involves visiting vulnerable client...
