Equipment technician BasildonMonday-Friday 37.5 hours per week.The company & role:Based in South Essex, you will be joining a well-known manufacturing company which specialises in the design, manufacturing, build and installation of automated machinery working in several industries. With a large order book and continuous projects for the next 3-6 years, this is an excellent time to join an ever-expanding business.They are now looking to appoint a Enclosure/Equipment Assembly Technician to assist in the machining, manufacturing and build-up of enclosures, equipment and machinery on the factory floor.The enclosure assembly role is varied and requires machining, fitting, assembly and fault-finding skills. Keen attention to detail and careful handling of the specialist materials is essential. Ability to maintain focus and care when actioning the tasks of higher repetition will be essential.Some of the typical duties are as follows: -Preparation of base materials, machining and lock assembly.Assembling frameworks and fitting to machinery lines.Dis-assembly of tested lines and preparation of items ready for transport and assembly at customers sitesSmall amount of pneumatic assemblyAssembly, commissioning, support and service work at customers' sitesThe candidate will need to have the following skills/attributes: -Good basic engineering skillsAble to interpret equipment assembly drawings and maintain the high-quality finish and output levels expected by our customers.Proven teamworking, attention to detail and good problem solverPractical engineering experience, particularly in mechanical assembly and machiningAble to operate within the requirements of good health and safety discipline.Recognised Engineering certification/apprenticeshipTraining will be provided to familiarise the successful applicant with the specialist machinery and equipment supplied.What you need to do now if you're interested in this role:Click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV or call us now.
