Employment Solicitor (2–6 PQE) | Leeds | Leading National Firm | £58,000–£65,000 + Hybrid Working

Are you an Employment Solicitor looking for high-quality work, real client exposure, and a clear path for progression within a nationally recognised team?

A leading UK law firm is looking to expand its highly regarded Employment team in Leeds, offering an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with 2–6 years’ PQE to take the next step in their career.

The role

You will join a well-established and collaborative team advising a diverse client base, including employers, senior executives, HR professionals, and both public and private sector organisations.

This is a broad and engaging role combining both contentious and advisory work, including:

• Employment Tribunal litigation (including discrimination and whistleblowing claims)
• Advising on disciplinary, grievance, dismissal and redundancy matters
• Drafting employment contracts, policies and supporting documentation
• Corporate support work, including TUPE
• Leading and supporting workplace investigations
• Building client relationships and contributing to business development

You’ll have early responsibility and client exposure, managing your own caseload with support from experienced partners where needed.

About you

You will be a qualified Solicitor (or equivalent) with 2–6 years’ PQE and experience across a mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters.

You should also demonstrate:

• Strong commercial awareness and pragmatic approach
• Confidence managing your own caseload
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• A proactive and collaborative mindset
