Employment Lawer & Employee Relations for a Leading Global Bank


The Role: Advising on a full range of employment law and ER matters & supporting the ER agenda for the Bank


Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of ER cases including disciplinary, grievance and whistleblowing investigations
  • Provide legal support and advice to HR business partners, including disputes and negotiating exit arrangements etc
  • Advise on design, maintenance and implementation of ER strategy, policies and activities,
  • Preparation and review of employment agreements and offer letters, consultancy agreements and settlement agreements
  • Advise Resourcing, Reward and Benefits on hiring matters
  • Provide advice and support to individuals and business managers to interpret ER policy
  • Project management / HR projects
  • Delivery of specialist training to HR/management when required
  • Promoting appropriate workplace behaviour, equality and diversity agenda and initiatives


Candidate Profile

  • Qualified Employment Lawyer with either in-house or Private Practice experience
  • Experience of working in Banking or advising on related banking matters a plus
  • Extensive general Employment law experience including: Advisory, employee litigation, TUPE , ER processes including whistleblowing investigations
  • Able to work with stakeholders at all levels across the bank
