Location: Glasgow

PQE: NQ - 3 PQE

Department: L500 Employment Team

The Role

Join a highly ranked Employment team, within a Top 50 UK firm, as an Employment Solicitor and develop your career in a supportive, forward-looking environment.


You will manage a varied caseload, providing both advisory and tribunal work and gain exposure to some of the UK’s most prominent employers across multiple sectors.


This is a role designed for those who want to take ownership of their career progression, develop advocacy skills and contribute to business development initiatives.


From the get-go, you will be supported in building expertise and shaping your trajectory within a high-performing employment team.


The Work

  • Manage a mixed caseload of employment matters, including advisory and tribunal work
  • Provide HR-focused employment law advice to clients across multiple sectors
  • Conduct advocacy at Employment Tribunals
  • Draft and prepare legal documentation, correspondence, tribunal bundles, witness statements, and reports
  • Support team members with their caseloads when required
  • Produce client MI reports and assist with business development initiatives
  • Work efficiently to meet SLAs, chargeable targets, and internal procedures
  • Contribute to thought leadership through drafting articles and legal updates


Your Experience

  • NQ–3 PQE qualified solicitor with Employment experience
  • Strong technical knowledge and academic background
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-performing team
  • Flexible, proactive, and client-focused mindset
  • Interest in employment advocacy and HR advisory work
