Employment Advisor Salary: £27,008 per annum + Benefits Covering Newham - Regular travel required, covering multiple sites across the region We are currently seeking to appoint an Employment Advisor (EAs) who will work closely with clinicians during the delivery of integrated support packages across the region. These include providing tailored sessions depending on need including securing new employment, return to work following absence and retaining employment through in-work support. What you will be doing? Employment Advisors (EAs) will work with around 30-35 people at any one time and are likely to see 100-120 clients each year. Responsible for delivering employment support through practical and motivational interventions; coordinating with Talking Therapies clinicians where participants are accessing support; assessing the impact and potential barriers of mental health, health conditions, and disabilities to employment. Signposting to other agencies who will be able to provide advice on other benefits or support, and as well as working with other organisations as required (e.g. Jobcentre Plus, employers, Trade Unions).
