Employability Tutor\n Liverpool City Region\n Up to £28,000\n Full Time, Permanent\n The Role:\n We’re looking for an engaging and supportive Tutor to deliver short, classroom-based courses across areas such as Construction Skills, Employability and Care. You’ll lead 2–3-week programmes for adult learners, helping them build confidence, gain accredited qualifications and progress towards their goals. The role involves planning and delivering lessons, assessing learner progress and ensuring every learner receives the right level of guidance to achieve positive outcomes.

Occasional travel within the Liverpool City Region is required.\n Duties:\n\nDeliver accredited, classroom-based qualifications from Entry 3 to Level 2 to groups of up to 12–15 adult learners.\nComplete initial and ongoing assessments to ensure learners are enrolled on the correct programme and receive suitable support.\nCreate learning opportunities that enable learners to complete assignments or sit exams successfully.\nMark portfolios and paper-based exams and maintain accurate assessment records.\nProvide clear, constructive written and verbal feedback to support learner progress.\nSet SMART development objectives tailored to individual needs.\nEnsure all documentation and administrative tasks are completed in line with internal procedures.Required Skills:\n\nA motivating and inspiring approach, with the ability to engage adult learners.\nStrong communication skills and the ability to plan and organise workload effectively.\nConfident IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Office.\nTeaching qualification at Level 3 or above (PTLLS minimum).\nExperience working with adults in the education sector and relevant industry knowledge.\nUnderstanding of the challenges faced by individuals with barriers to employment.\nMaths and English at Level 2 (GCSE or Functional Skills).\nIAG Level 2 or willingness to work towards it (desirable).\n A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable) and if successful you will be required to undertake a DBS criminal records check.\n \n If this sounds like the perfect role for you then please submit your CV.\n \n This vacancy is being handled by Aspire Recruitment.
