Emergency Lighting (EML) Engineer

A well-established and growing specialist within the fire & life safety sector is looking to recruit an experienced Emergency Lighting Engineer to join their London team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong emergency lighting experience who enjoys working across a variety of commercial and residential environments, carrying out installations, testing, maintenance and fault finding.

The Role

You will be responsible for working on emergency lighting systems across multiple sites, ensuring systems are installed, tested and maintained to the highest standards and in line with current regulations.

Key Responsibilities

*

Installation of emergency lighting systems

*

Carrying out routine testing and inspections

*

Fault finding and repair of emergency lighting systems

*

Completing service reports and documentation accurately

*

Ensuring all work is completed in line with current health & safety standards

*

Liaising with site contacts and clients in a professional manner

*

Working independently or as part of a wider engineering team

Requirements

*

Level 2 Electrical Installations (2365 or equivalent)

*

Level 3 Electrical Installations (2365 or equivalent)

*

Proven experience working with Emergency Lighting systems

*

Experience installing electrical containment (tray, trunking, conduit etc.)

*

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

*

Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable

*

18th Edition (BS 7671)

*

Testing & Inspection (2391)
