Verification & Validation (V&V) Test Engineer – Real-Time Embedded Software
Working Pattern: Hybrid – typically 4 days on-site
Security Clearance: British Citizen or Dual UK National
The Opportunity
Join my Clients Real-Time Embedded Software team and help qualify components of some of the world’s most advanced defence systems.
You’ll turn requirements into test cases, execute tests, capture data, and provide actionable feedback to project teams. You’ll work across a diverse portfolio of projects, collaborating with enthusiastic engineers in a dynamic lab environment.
What they are looking for.
*
Strong experience in V&V for embedded software systems
*
Ability to develop structured test cases from requirements
*
Hands-on lab experience with electro-mechanical products running embedded software
*
Good knowledge of the software engineering lifecycle
*
Scripting skills and practical problem-solving ability
Desirable:
Safety-critical systems, DO-178C, Ada/C++, RTOS, model-driven design, test automation, and tools such as DOORS, Rhapsody, LDRA, or Rapita.
