Embedded Software Designer We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic person to join our software design team. This is a full time, office-based role located at our factory at Tokenspire Business Park in Beverley, East Yorkshire. Working within an established team of designers, you will primarily be responsible for embedded software design, from initial ideas and specification, to prototype / proof of concept through to final coding and system testing and performance evaluation. You will work closely with the hardware designers, helping with initial concepts, refinements and circuit improvements. You will provide inputs to the microcontroller selection and specification, and where required will offer recommendations. Educated to degree level, in software or electronic engineering or with similar qualifications and relevant experience, you will have been working in similar industries and be able to show a proven track record of successful product design. Experience in embedded software design, using Atmel Studio, Visual Studio Code, ESP-IDF, Eclipse IDE or similar platforms is required. A flare for visual interface design will be a benefit, along with the drive to create efficient code and a polished final solution.
