My client is a panel member of the Police Federation (the police officers' union) and represents police officers who have been involved in work‑related accidents against the police force.This role is ideal for a qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years+ of experience in litigation, preferably in Employer's Liability (EL) or Occupier's Liability (OL) personal injury cases. Key responsibilities include:Managing a caseload of #removed# fast-track and multi-track litigated and pre-litigated personal injury and EL/PL claimsHandling cases from pre-litigation to trialWorking collaboratively as part of a team, while also working independently under supervision to comply with firm processesUtilizing case management softwareDrafting court documents and witness statementsPreparing trial bundlesEnsuring cases are run efficiently and court directions are metRegularly updating clientsThe ideal candidate will have:Previous experience in litigation, essentialAbility to meet strict court deadlinesStrong focus on client care and guiding members of the public through the court processExcellent organizational and time management skillsExceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify technical points in defences and evidenceExperience following instructions from senior staff and meeting internal deadlinesProficiency in case management softwareSelf-motivation and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a teamStrong track record in settlement and litigation targetsThe benefits package includes a minimum of 20 days' holiday plus bank holidays and your birthday off (after 12 months of service), with an additional day of holiday per year of service subject to a minimum term.
