We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven ELECTROPLATING ENGINEER to join our growing team in Birmingham. This role plays a vital part in maintaining and enhancing the quality of our luxury metal products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of craftsmanship and performance.

We are looking for an experienced Plating Technician to join our manufacturing team. This hands-on role is critical to ensuring the quality, consistency, and finish of our luxury brass products. You will be responsible for managing chemical processes, maintaining equipment, and ensuring all work meets our exacting quality and safety standards.

Commutable from Birmingham, Hall Green, Sutton Coldfield, Walsall, Halesowen, Minworth, Erdington, Smethwick, West Bromwich, Aston and Willenhall

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitor, control, and maintain chemical plating solutions
  • Process components through a range of chemical and finishing processes
  • Carry out quality inspections to ensure products meet specification
  • Maintain plating equipment and ensure it operates safely and effectively
  • Ensure all work aligns with company quality standards and core values

What were looking for:

  • Strong experience in metal plating, including brass
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with a desire to improve processes
  • Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Good spoken and written English
  • Experience working with brass hardware or luxury products would be beneficial but not essential
  • Basic computer skills and general IT awareness
  • Experience in shop-floor machining or manufacturing environments helpful, but again, not essential
