JOB- Electronics Product Support Engineer \n\n LOCATION- Birmingham\n\n TERM- Permanent\n\n SALARY- £37,000 - £45,000 per annum dependent on relevant experience \n\n My client works within engineering and they are looking to take on a Product Support Engineer with an Electronics bias, on a permanent basis, in the Birmingham area.\n\n The Product Support Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:\n\nNVQ/ HNC/ HND/ BTEC/Degree qualified or similar in Electrical & Electronics Engineering\nPrior electronics sector experience is essential – be able to diagnose faults, work on component level and work with schematics\nPractical soldering skills and using hand tools\nAny software knowledge would be beneficial – KiCAD or similar PCB Design CAD\nHave excellent problem solving skills\nHave excellent communication skills both verbal and written\nBe able to work well individually as well as a team\nBe proficient with using MS Office applicationsThe Product Support Engineer role will involve:\n\nProviding technical support to customers with regards to company products\nBeing involved in product re-design when needed\nHelping with any technical issues that arise\nOffering production support across the range of products\nSchematic design using KiCAD\nCarrying out fault diagnosis\nCarrying out bespoke assembly of products when required too\nOffering support to other team member when requiredIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation
