This role suits a hands-on electronics engineer with strong leadership and project delivery skills.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop a small Electronics Manufacturing & Test team.Introduce new products, processes and automated test equipment into manufacturing.Design, validate and document electronic test systems and verification processes.Provide advanced diagnostic support and root-cause analysis.Support data-driven improvements across manufacturing operations.Work closely with engineering, quality, manufacturing teams and external suppliers.Contribute to DfM/DfA/DfT and ensure IPC standards are met.Drive continuous improvement in PCBA manufacturing and test.Essential Skills & ExperienceStrong electronics design, measurement and fault-finding capability.Leadership experience within engineering/manufacturing.PCB/circuit design using modern CAD tools.Experience with SMT/PCBA/AOI equipment.Understanding of firmware/software and basic coding.Strong problem-solving skills (8D, A3, RCA).Excellent communication, organisation and documentation skills.Familiarity with ISO9001 or similar quality systems.DesirableFirmware/software coding skills.Six Sigma/Lean experience.ATEX/IECEx or hazardous-area product experience.Knowledge of ISO45001/14001.3D CAD (e.g., SolidWorks).QualificationsHNC/HND/Degree in Electronics or related discipline.Electronic CAD experience essential.TPBN1_UKTJ
