The Job You’ll Do:
* Cover production technical operations
* Learn the technical aspects of the companies’ products
* Support customers via the technical phone line and site visits.
* Attend and report machine breakdowns and report any and all actions carried out, as well as any further actions required.
* Diagnosing and repairing PCBs down to component level
* Carrying out mechanical maintenance fault finding and repair on electronic manufacturing machinery
About You:
* Qualified to ONC/HNC level or above in a relevant discipline (Electronics/Electrical Engineering or similar)
* Mechanical fault-finding maintenance experience
* Previous experience as a qualified technician, with a history of PPM and breakdown response on Electronic Manufacturing equipment.
* SMT and electronics manufacturing machine experience.
* You must have the ability to diagnose and repair PCBs down to component level using a schematic drawing and use diagnostic equipment.
* Effective communication skills at all levels
* Have the ability to work within a team environment or individually
* A focus on continuous improvement and LEAN activities
