Join our client, an innovative global engineering manufacturer developing advanced electronics for next‑ propulsion systems. As they continue to invest in cleaner, more efficient technologies, they are seeking an experienced Electronics Hardware Design Engineer to support the development of high‑quality ECUs used in demanding automotive and industrial environments.

The role
You will be responsible for the design, analysis and delivery of electronic hardware for high‑volume, high‑quality ECU products. Working within a collaborative engineering team, you will take designs from concept to release while supporting validation and manufacturing activities.
Key responsibilities
• Develop electronics designs for ECU applications
• Analyse customer requirements and identify gaps
• Produce schematics, BoMs and supporting documentation
• Complete worst‑case analyses
• Create and maintain Electrical DFMEA
• Support PCB ECAD activities
• Assist Validation and Test teams
• Prepare technical reports and presentations
• Ensure designs meet cost, quality and manufacturability targets
• Improve BOD guidelines and engineering processes
• Develop and maintain test equipment and tools
About you
• Strong electronics hardware design background
• Experience with ISO26262 and FMEDA
• Skilled in DFMEA and structured problem‑solving
• Proficient with CAD and simulation tools (XPedition )
• Analytical, detail‑focused and deadline‑driven
• Effective communicator and team collaborator
• Fluent in English
