Electronics Design Engineer Defence SystemsOur client, a long-standing partner to the UK Ministry of Defence, is seeking an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join a high-performing team developing advanced defence technologies.Based in Stevenage, this role offers the opportunity to work on complex missile systems, contributing to the full lifecycle of electronic design within a highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop electronic solutions for weapon systems, including onboard missile sub-systems and land, sea, and air-based firing unitsDeliver electronic designs from concept through to production, with a strong focus on Power and Analog Electronics at sub-system and board levelEnsure product quality, performance, and compliance throughout the development lifecycleProvide accurate cost and schedule updates to support effective project trackingCollaborate with Software, Firmware, Mechanical, Environmental, and EMC teams to meet technical and regulatory requirementsContribute to the delivery of high-performance missile solutions aligned with operational and customer needsWhat Youll NeedDegree in Electronic Engineering (or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experienceProven experience delivering complex electronic designs within regulated or safety-critical environmentsAbility to lead and influence technical workstreams within multi-disciplinary teamsStrong problem-solving capability and broad knowledge of electronic technologiesClear, effective communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levelsWhat happens now?Upon submission of your application, should it meet our selection criteria, you will be contacted via e-mail by one of our talent acquisition specialists to arrange a screening call.
