Electronic Rework Technician
Location: Heathrow
Job Type: Full-Time. Permanent
We are seeking an experienced Electronic Rework Technician to support the assembly, rework, testing, and troubleshooting of complex electronic systems in an aerospace environment. This role requires strong hands-on technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work from engineering documentation and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Perform electronic rework, assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics and electronic systems Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical documentation Conduct functional testing and verification to ensure compliance with specifications Identify defects, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions Operate electronic test equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators Complete accurate documentation in accordance with quality and regulatory requirements Follow safety, quality, and aerospace regulatory standards Work closely with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues
Experience
Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics, Avionics, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience 2+ years of experience in electronic rework, avionics, or electronics manufacturing Strong ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings Hands-on experience with electronic test and measurement equipment Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment IPC soldering and wiring experience Familiarity with analog and digital circuitry
