This is an exciting opportunity to join an engineering team working on advanced illuminated control panels, display systems and integrated cockpit technologies used across aerospace, defence and industrial markets.You'll be involved in designing and developing a wide range of aircraft-fit equipment, including:LED-based illuminated panelsElectroluminescent lighting systemsHidden-until-lit technologiesNVIS-compatible panelsMiniature filament lamp assembliesIntegrated switch panels, annunciators, bezels and keyboardsIf you enjoy hands-on engineering, full lifecycle product development and contributing to meaningful innovation, this role offers the perfect environment to grow and make an impact.Key ResponsibilitiesFormalise and produce effective design solutions to meet customer requirementsDeliver full lifecycle product development from design through to manufactureManage project plans, track progress and ensure delivery on time and within budgetWork with external test houses to qualify products to customer specificationsProduce technical documentation including test procedures, calculations, datasheets, installation instructions and technical reportsParticipate in design reviews, including Critical Design Reviews (CDR)Provide technical support to Production and resolve issues in manufacturing processesSupport Sales with technical assistance and product selectionMaintain awareness of relevant engineering standards (IPC, MIL, DEF) and contribute to internal engineering standardsAbout YouYou're someone who enjoys working across multiple projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and taking ownership of technical challenges.
