Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Electronic Design Engineer to join a specialist electronic engineering department, working on advanced and technically complex products across the full product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake board-level electronic design including schematic capture, prototyping, functional testing and proving activities Design and develop analogue and digital electronic solutions to meet demanding technical requirements Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to ensure effective system and sub-system integration Apply development techniques such as circuit simulation and DFMEA to ensure robust and reliable designs Support the product lifecycle from concept and feasibility through to transfer to production Contribute to industrial validation, quality assurance and compliance activities Support continuous improvement, research and capability development within the electronic engineering function At senior level, provide technical guidance, mentoring and leadership across electronic design activities

The ideal candidate would have:

Experience in electronic design, development and delivery Exposure to board-level design across analogue and digital technologies Experience working across multiple stages of the product lifecycle Familiarity with complex or safety-critical engineering environments An interest in developing technical leadership responsibility

The ideal candidate must have:

Strong problem-solving capability and attention to detail The ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary engineering organisation Clear written and verbal communication skills The ability to manage technical challenges and priorities within project environments
