We are looking for an experienced electro‑mechanical technician to support the manufacture, prototyping and final assembly of bespoke mechanical and electrical systems. This is a practical, project‑focused position in which you will translate detailed drawings and CAD models into high‑quality assemblies, contribute to technical improvements, and help ensure projects are delivered on schedule. Core responsibilities
Assemble mechanical components, sub‑assemblies and frames using hand and power tools with accuracy and repeatability
Interpret CAD models and engineering drawings to produce bespoke items to specification
Wire LEDs, sensors and control panels, and carry out basic electrical assembly and testing
Support prototype builds, provide technical feedback and assist with design iterations
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues promptly to maintain delivery timelines
Conduct quality checks and document compliance with company procedures and regulatory standards
Maintain workshop equipment and test tools, ensuring lifting and pneumatic equipment meets HSE requirementsEssential skills and experience
Strong practical experience in mechanical assembly and electrical wiring
Proven ability to interpret and work from CAD drawings and technical documentation
Competence with hand tools, power tools and standard workshop assembly techniques
Effective problem‑solving and fault‑finding skills in electro‑mechanical systems
