Electrical Supervisor Utilities / Civil Engineering Projects

We are currently recruiting for an experiencedElectrical Supervisorto support amajor utilities and civil engineering projectstarting inHolsworthy, with ongoing work acrossmultiple infrastructure sites throughout the South West.

This role will involve supervising electrical installation works associated withutility infrastructure, civil engineering projects, and power installations. The successful candidate will oversee site electricians and subcontractors, ensuring electrical works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications.

This isongoing temporary contract work, with the opportunity to move between various projects as works progress across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Superviseelectrical installation works on utilities and civil engineering projects

  • Manage and coordinatesite electricians and electrical subcontractors

  • Ensure all electrical works comply withindustry regulations, project specifications, and health & safety standards

  • Conductsite inspections and quality checksto ensure work is completed to the required standard

  • Work closely withsite managers, project managers, and civil engineering teams

  • Ensure compliance withmethod statements, risk assessments, and permit systems

  • Monitor project progress and assist in maintainingproject timelines

  • Reviewelectrical drawings, plans, and technical documentation

  • Support the organisation ofmaterials, plant, and electrical resources on site

Requirements
  • Proven experience working as anElectrical Supervisor within utilities, infrastructure, or civil engineering projects

  • Strong knowledge ofelectrical installations on utility or infrastructure sites

  • Experience supervisingsite teams and subcontractors

  • Ability to manage work acrossmultiple sites

  • Strong understanding ofhealth and safety procedures within construction environments

Essential Qualifications
  • EUSR Card (Essential)

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

  • ECS / JIB Gold Card or equivalent

  • SSSTS or SMSTS

  • Full UK Driving Licence

Project & Location Details

The project willinitially start in Okehampton, with the role covering avariety of utility and infrastructure sites across the South Westas projects progress.

This position istemporary contract work tied to project delivery, offeringongoing work across multiple utility and civil engineering projectsin the region.
